Who We Are
The USTA is a progressive and diverse not-for-profit organization whose volunteers, professional staff and financial resources support a single mission: to promote and develop the growth of tennis.
Located at Lake Nona in Orlando, Fla., the USTA National Campus serves as the “Home of American Tennis.” The groundbreaking facility is designed to enhance the sport at every level and create an unparalleled playing, training, coaching and educational experience for recreational players, competitive players, coaches and spectators. More than 100 international, national and local events and tournaments are scheduled at the facility in 2017.
Player Development
The USTA National Campus is home to USTA Player Development National Training Headquarters. The Lake Nona-based training center is one of three USTA Player Development Training Centers in the country.
Player Development works with players at many levels of the pathway from red, orange and green ball Early Development Campers, promising young juniors, aspiring professionals in Collegiate Tennis, all the way to the Top American prospects.
On a daily basis you can find a variety of activity going on in the Player Development area of the Lake Nona campus. You can find Team USA players training in the gym for the upcoming Grand Slam event, young juniors and their private coaches hitting on the Italy-imported red clay courts with a USTA National Coach, coaches from around the country learning from coaching and performance analytics experts on staff, or even our Top 20 players discussing mental toughness and nutrition with our licensed professionals.
To provide our promising Team USA player’s privacy to train to become the next American champions, the Player Development area is not open to the public. To learn more about USTA Player Development, please visit our website at playerdevelopment.usta.com
