Today the USTA Foundation, the national charitable arm of the United States Tennis Association, unveiled a brand new 60-foot tennis court at the Frontline Outreach Sports Center in west Orlando. Representatives from the USTA Foundation and Frontline Outreach were joined by City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and Archbishop Allen T.D. Wiggins to open the court at the special ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Frontline Outreach, which has been serving the Orlando community for 50 years, is the first chapter of the USTA Foundation’s National Junior Tennis & Learning (NJTL) network in Orlando. This new partnership brings together the powerful combination of tennis and education with the goal of empowering and uplifting inner-city youth. The brand new court is the first of its kind in the west Orlando community and will allow the program’s youth participants to experience tennis for the first time.
