The USTA Foundation partnered with the Orlando Police Department to host 50 kids from the Orlando Teen Police & Fire Academy summer program at the USTA National Campus. The USTA Foundation, the USTA’s philanthropic entity, provided a tour of the campus and a two-hour tennis clinic led by USTA staff.

After the clinic, USTA Foundation Executive Director Dan Faber spoke to the group, most of whom had just experienced tennis for the first time. The Orlando Tennis Police & Fire Academy is a free program offered to students enrolled in grades 9-12 and is aimed at fostering a positive relationship between police and youth in the community.
