The year’s final Grand Slam is around the corner, with the US Open set to begin next week at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. Starting Tuesday, Aug. 21, the US Open Qualifying Tournament gets underway, as 128 men and 128 women are vying for the final 16 coveted spots in the US Open main draw.

Orlando residents Madison Keys, Jennifer Brady, Caroline Dolehide, Frances Tiafoe and Mackenzie McDonald, who all train at the USTA National Campus, have already secured direct entry into the main draw. Alison Riske, Sachia Vickery and 16-year-old Amanda Anisimova, who have all spent time training in Lake Nona, are automatically into the main draw, as well.

A number of fellow Orlando residents and players who have spent extensive time training at the USTA National Campus are looking to join them. On the women’s side, Irina Falconi, Kristie Ahn, Grace Min, Francesca Di Lorenzo, Allie Kiick (pictured above), and Vicky Duval will all be competing in the US Open Qualifying Tournament. And on the men’s side, that list includes Bjorn Fratangelo, Mitchell Krueger, Christopher Eubanks and Ulises Blanch.

To track the results of the Orlando residents, follow all of the action on USOpen.org. Also, for the first time, Tennis Channel will telecast the US Open Qualifying Tournament from “first ball to last ball,” and ESPN+ will stream coverage daily from five courts of Qualifying match play, as well.
