The USTA College Alumni Tennis Classic is set to make its return to the National Campus this weekend, as four men’s and four women’s squads will represent their schools Saturday, Feb. 1 and Sunday, Feb. 2. This marks the first time a women’s division will be part of the event after only men’s teams competed in 2018.

Making up the men’s field are two separate UNC Charlotte crews along with UNC Wilmington and FIU. Williams College, William & Mary, Texas A&M, and Washington University in St. Louis have entered on the women’s side.

Saturday’s schedule of play has all teams competing in round-robin dual matches; a dual match consists of three courts of doubles contests, each contest being one eight-game pro set using no-ad scoring.

Below is the full slate of matches for Saturday.

Round One (9 a.m.)

UNC Charlotte (Green) vs. FIU

UNC Charlotte (White) vs. UNC Wilmington

Williams vs. William & Mary

Texas A&M vs. Washington-St. Louis

Round Two (12 p.m.)

UNC Charlotte (Green) vs. UNC Wilmington

UNC Charlotte (White) vs. FIU

Washington-St. Louis vs. Williams

Round Three (3 p.m.)

On Sunday, the first- and second-place teams will square off with the title on the line while the remaining squads will go head-to-head for third. All matches will get underway at 9 a.m.

Not in the field this year, the Gustavus Adolphus College men captured the crown in 2018. For more information on the USTA College Alumni Tennis Classic, click here.
