Another first-time event for the USTA National Campus, the USTA Florida NTRP 18 & Over National Qualifier will take place Saturday, Feb. 8th and Sunday, Feb. 9th. Qualified winners will be eligible to advance to the 2021 NTRP 18 & Over National Championships.

The event is scheduled to feature men and women competing in singles and doubles in the following divisions – 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0. For the men’s 4.5 singles and women’s 4.0 doubles competitions players have been placed into an A or B draw. All draws will be played out in the round-robin format.

Each match is slated to utilize no-ad scoring and will be the best-of-three short sets to four games with a tiebreak at 3-3; the tiebreak will be the first to five points with a sudden-death point at 4-4.

Among the competitors in this year’s field is Jennifer Wysocki (Saint Cloud, Fla.), who was part of the national championship duo in the 3.5 women's doubles division in 2019. She has entered the 4.5 singles and 4.0 doubles divisions in this year’s qualifier.

The National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) is the official system for determining the levels of competition for the USTA League tennis program. The USTA NTRP Computer Rating System assigns ratings based on play in the local league and at the championship level during the current league year.
