The future of American tennis was on full display as the nation’s top college players competed for a coveted US Open wild card.

College Tennis Stars Compete for a Spot in the US Open

The USTA hosted the second annual playoff event for top American collegiate players to compete for main draw and qualifying wild card berths into the 2026 US Open. This event more than doubled the average number of American collegiate players who earn US Open wild cards this year, with six guaranteed US Open wild card entries up for grabs.

The American Collegiate Wildcard Playoff was hosted at our Collegiate Center on Courts #1-#4 on June 16-18,  inviting the public to watch the action live for FREE! The event featured men's and women's singles and doubles competition. Matches started at 6:30 PM on June 16 and 17, and June 18 at 5:30PM.
