USTA Florida NTRP 18 & Over National Qualifier
Players Book Spots in 2021 Nationals

The USTA Florida NTRP 18 & Over National Qualifier was held on the Team USA hard courts of the USTA National Campus Feb. 8-9. Qualified winners are now eligible to advance to the 2021 NTRP 18 & Over National Championships next spring.
The qualifying event featured men and women competing in singles and doubles in the following divisions – 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0. All draws were played out with the round-robin format.
Each match utilized no-ad scoring and was the best-of-three short sets to four games with a tiebreak at 3-3; the tiebreak format was the first to five points with a sudden-death point at 4-4.

Singles Champions
Men’s 3.0 – Rene Dipus (Winter Park)
Men’s 3.5 – John Olcese (Lake Mary)
Men’s 4.0 – Eli Panell (Doral)

Men’s 5.0 – Alex Bose (Winter Haven)
Women’s 3.0 – Kenzier McIntyre (Pensacola)
Women’s 3.5 – Kathy Myers (Orlando)
Women’s 4.5 – Jessica Fischer (Winter Haven)
Doubles Champions
Men’s 4.0 – Eddie White (Rockledge)/Kyle McLachlan (Indialantic)
Men’s 4.5 – Jesse Rose (Orlando)/Michael Spieldiener (Orlando)
Women’s 4.5 – Elizabeth McCafferty (Lutz)/Lisa Shelton (Lutz)
The National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) is the official system for determining the levels of competition for the USTA League tennis program. The USTA NTRP Computer Rating System assigns ratings based on play in the local league and at the championship level during the current league year.
