The USTA National Campus is excited to announce that David Bailey will be joining the team as the Campus expert on tennis movement and footwork starting in January 2022. David will be part of our programming as well as offering his own classes and clinics.

David has spent 30 years studying the footwork and movement patterns of the top tennis professionals. He has viewed over 18,000 video clips of professional players in action – carefully observing and documenting their precise movements.

Based on this research, he has developed a progressive teaching method that is cutting edge in one of the most complex and misunderstood aspects of the game – movement and footwork. It is unlike any other program available in the world today.

David has consulted to and trained players across the globe, he is a regular presenter at coaching conferences and clinics, he writes frequently for some of the Industry’s most respected media platforms – including tennisplayer.net and TennisPro Magazine - and his revolutionary program has been referenced in the New York Times and London Times.

David has been the movement and footwork consultant and trainer to over 21 professional Grand Slam players, including:

Monica Seles, Jelena Dokic, Bethanie Mattek-Sands, Johanna Konta, Shaui Zhang, Vince Spadea, Jarmila Wolfe, Misaki Doi, Catalina Castano, Anne Keothavong and Andrew Ilie.

David will begin offering programs and clinics at the USTA National Campus beginning in January 2022. For more information on David's offerings and programs, click here
