National Campus Hosts
Boys' 12 National Clay Championships

The USTA National Campus will host one of the premier junior events in the country, with the USTA Boys’ 12s National Clay Court Championships set to take place next week in Lake Nona. The top boys in the 12-and-under division from across the country will compete for a national title in both singles and doubles.
The National Level 1 tournament in one of the marquee events of the junior calendar and will attract the best of the best. The junior circuit serves as the proving ground for the next crop of elite American tennis players.
The USTA National Campus has already hosted two National Level 2 tournaments as well as the USTA Florida Junior State Singles Championship so far this year, but the National Clay Court Championships will certainly be the most prominent.
“We’re thrilled to be hosting this tournament at the USTA National Campus,” said USTA Director of National Tournaments Lew Brewer. “The best players in the country deserve to play at the best facilities, and they’ll be getting that here in Lake Nona.”
In the latest partnership between the USTA and ESPN to showcase competitive tennis at multiple levels of the sport, the singles and doubles finals of the USTA Boys' 12s National Clay Courts will be delivered live on ESPN3 and streaming live on the ESPN app on Saturday, July 22, beginning with singles at 10 a.m., from the USTA National Campus. Former world No. 5 and USTA Boys' 12s national champion Jimmy Arias and Steve Goldstein, play-by-play voice of the NHL's Florida Panthers, will have the call.
Each year, more than 120,000 players compete in USTA junior tournaments. Players compete in levels of competition through earned advancement in the 10s, 12s, 14s, 16s and 18s age divisions. USTA junior tournaments help kids take their game as far as they want – high school, college or pros – or just have fun competing.
