Welcome to Junior Programming!
The USTA National Campus is pleased to be a part of your child’s tennis journey and share our passion for the sport!
Program Goals
At the heart of our programs, we aim to:
- Build character and life skills through the game of tennis.
- Inspire a love for the sport that lasts a lifetime.
- Create opportunities for all players to practice, play, and grow.
- Guide each player’s journey—whether they’re just starting or chasing big goals.
- Provide top-quality coaching in a fun and supportive environment.
What We Expect
We believe in creating a positive, supportive, and fun learning environment. Here’s how players and parents can help make that happen:
For Players
- Show respect for your coaches and fellow players.
- Encourage and support others on and off the court.
- Always give your best effort and stay engaged.
- Most importantly—have fun while learning and improving!
For Parents
- Support your child’s tennis journey by focusing on effort and long-term growth.
- Avoid coaching from the sidelines—too many voices can be distracting.
- Every player develops at their own pace—celebrate progress, not comparisons.

PLAYER PROGRESSION AND MOVE UP POLICY
Player progression to the next level class in our Program pathway depends on several factors: age (chronological vs. biological), how often they play, maturity, etc. We focus on having players fully develop skills before advancing to ensure they are successful and have confidence at the next level. It is very common for players to be in a class for more than one session; this does not mean that your child is not progressing! Rather, we are cementing skills. Our coaching methods are designed to challenge each player individually. Read Our Move-Up Policy
